Glitter..

I am a lover of nail polish and I own quite an array of shades, but it isn't often that I come across a glitter nail polish that I like. Well whilst I was browsing the makeup section in Superdrug yesterday, something caught my eye...
NYC Expert last nail polish in 'Gramercy Glitz' £2.49
This is just so gorgeous, I have been on the hunt for a glitter nail polish at a reasonable price and I couldn't believe my eyes when I came across this beauty. It's easy to apply and one coat does the job too. It's perfect on it's own or on top of another colour, so when I want my nails to look more natural I'll just use it on it's own. It's a clear based polish packed full of pink, blue and green glitter in small sizes. It's definitely worth the money and I can guarantee this is going to be a favourite of mine for a long time.

This week's discoveries....#1

As most of you beauty addicts out there will know, there really are some amazing products being released at the moment. L'Oreal, Bourjois, Rimmel and Revlon are on fire at the moment, releasing product after product. I get so excited when I see a new makeup/skincare product so you can imagine what it was like for me whilst I was out shopping the other day.
Anyway, I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and do these 'This week I've been using' posts because they are one of my favourite type of blog posts to read, and It's always nice to hear other peoples opinions on products too. So before I bore you to death, here we go.
Barry M Textured nail paint £3.99, Rimmel Apocalips £5.99, Palmer's dark chocolate and peppermint lip balm £2.79, Urban Decay Naked 2 palette £36.

Barry M have come out with textured nail paints? Yes they have and I was quite intrigued when I spotted these, but as usual I caved and ended up buying one anyway. Kingsland Road is a baby pink colour and it is very pretty, it reminds me of their original 'strawberry ice cream' but i think kingsland road is a little bit lighter. Basically it's like someone has poured a load of sand into the nail polish, which some people will like and same will hate. I don't know whether I am a fan or not.
I'm pretty sure almost every beauty addict out there will of scurried off the shops to pick up a Rimmel Apocalips, the colour that really stood out to me was 'celestial' as it's one of those my lips but better colours and me being a fan of dark pink/berry shades meant I had to have this. It glides effortlessly onto lips and the colour pay off is amazing. They are non-sticky and super easy to apply, they last ages on lips too. Is there anything wrong with these? Well after trying and loving 'celestial' I would love to try 'luna' which is a beautiful creamy peach colour.
It's been a while since I last bought a new lip balm, but when I was watching Zoella's January Favourites video, she mentioned this and didn't have a bad word to say about it. So I thought I may as well give it a go especially seeing as after eight mints are some of my fave chocs ever. And she was right, it is really hard to try and not eat it. It softens my lips and if you apply enough it also leaves a very subtle gloss too. Palmer's is a very good skincare brand so I figured I couldn't really go wrong here. It also contains Vitamin E which is an antioxidant which helps repair and protect your skin.
Even though Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette has been out a while, I have been using it everyday this week. My favourite shades are Foxy, Tease and snakebite, I do love the whole palette but these three colours especially Foxy and Tease have been my go-to shades, I've been getting quite lazy recently so all I've been doing is using an eye shadow base and then applying foxy all over my lid and a little bit of tease in my crease and also under my eye too. The palette contains 12 natural shades which are all highly pigmented and last a long time. The palette comes with a mini Urban Decay lip junkie lip gloss in Naked which I also adore and it includes a double ended brush. One end has a flat shading brush and the other has a fluffy blending brush. The colours are easy to apply and there are so many different looks you can create with just this one palette.

So what do you think about these products? Will you be trying any in the future? xxx
